Terms of Service

Overview

Layerprint is a custom production service operated by Blackboard Technologies Inc. By using the site, designer, checkout, or ordering workflow, you agree to these terms and the related pickup, refund, and privacy policies.

Custom Products

Layerprint products are made to order from customer-selected templates, text, shapes, uploaded assets, colors, and production settings. Small variations in surface finish, color, layer texture, and edge detail can occur because the product is physically produced layer by layer.

Design Responsibility

You are responsible for the content you create or upload. You must have the rights needed to use logos, images, artwork, trademarks, names, and other content in your design. We may reject or cancel orders that appear unlawful, infringing, unsafe, abusive, or unsuitable for production.

Pricing and Payment

Prices are estimated in the designer and confirmed at checkout. Checkout authorizes your payment method first. Layerprint captures payment after the order is accepted for production. If an order is cancelled before capture, the authorization is released according to Stripe and card issuer timing.

Production Review

The designer includes printability checks, but Layerprint may still review an order before production. If a design needs a change, material substitution, or production adjustment, we may contact you before proceeding.

Pickup and Fulfillment

Launch orders are pickup only. You will be notified by email when your order is ready for pickup at Book People, 1640 Queen Street West, Toronto, ON.

Order Changes and Cancellations

Email layerprint@blackboard.sh as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. Once production has started, changes or cancellations may not be possible.

Issues With an Order

If there is a production defect or order issue, contact us with your order number and photos. Depending on the issue, Layerprint may reprint, replace, refund, or partially refund the affected item.

Limitation

Layerprint is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses related to delayed pickup, customer-provided design errors, third-party service interruptions, or use of the finished products outside their intended purpose.
